Thick fabric printing - Screen lowering stuck by the fabric

 monochrome, printing, screen-printing, sp_usage, usage

▶  Description of the problem

While printing on hoodies or thick fabrics, that thickness prevents the screen from going low enough and touch the fabric.

▶  Possible origins

It's totally normal, that's why we made the press modular !

▶  Solution

There are two parameters you can work on :

  • There's some room below the printing plate to leave some space for extra fabrics.
    • You can loosen the fixation of the printing plate to slide it along the aluminium profiles. this way you can leave more space between the head of the press and the printing plate, which will let you put thicker fabrics.
