Printer stains on the transparent film - Bad stencil prints

 monochrome, screen-printing, sp_usage, stencil, usage

▶  Description of the problem

You printer is leaving big stains on your transparent film or your stencil is not as precise as you would like it to be.

▶  Possible origins

Three possible origins:

  • You are printing on the wrong side of your transparent film.
    • You are trying to use a laser transparent film into an inkjet printer or the other way around.
      • Your file isn't of good enough quality for the size of the stencil.

        ▶  Solution

        1. Check your file. If it is a small image that you nelarged (so it becomes a pixellized image), please verify that your resolution is high enough for what you're trying to achieve.

        2. Turn your transparent film around and try printing on it again.

        3. Check the transparent films you ordered and make sure they're supposed to be compatible with your printer.
