Print quality decreasing on the same screen

 monochrome, printing, screen-printing, sp_usage, usage

▶  Description of the problem

Your previous prints were successful and your screen seems fine but the ink doesn't seem to pass through the screen anymore.

Your design is now only partially/poorly printed.

▶  Possible origins

Some ink dried in the mesh of the screen.

You probably had a long printing session, or you paused it for a while.

▶  Solution

1. Clean your screen entirely with hot water to remove all the dried ink.

Put your screen in front of a light source to easily spot the parts where ink is stuck inside.

2. When you start again, try to avoid leaving ink in you mesh for too long.
It's better to add ink now and then than to put a lot at the begining.
Clean the screen quickly when you are not printing.
