Irregular emulsion layer - Waves visibles in the coating

emulsion, enduction, monochrome, screen-printing, sp_usage, usage

▶  Description of the problem

Your coating is irregular and you can see waves  in the emulsion on your screen.

▶  Possible origins

It means that you didn't go all the way to the top of your screen with your scoop coater in one movement. The result is that your emulsion layer is not even over you whole screen, and it will mess up the hardening of your screen.

▶  Solution

Everything is in the gesture: it needs to be steady, sharp and precise. It may take some itme to master it, so don't lose hope!
You can go check our tutorial if you need a little reminder on how to do it properly.
