Details washing away when revealing the design
▶ Description of the problem
Some of your details are missing on your exposed stencil, or the remaining emulsion seems thick or fragile.

▶ Possible origins
The most probable reason for this is that your emulsion coating was too thick.
Two possible origins:
- one is that you didn't remove the black rubber parts of your scoop coater (they are only there to protect it during transport.)
- the other is that you don't master the coating movement yet, which is common if you are beginning, but it'll come with time!
▶ Solutions
1. If you didn't remove the rubber parts, juste remove them and try again.
2. If not, go check our tutorial again to see the coating movement and try to reproduce it. Everything is in the gesture: it needs to be steady, sharp and precise. This can take some time to learn but keep trying!
The coating should leave a very thin and even layer of emulsion, without "blobs" or irregularities. This way it will be able to keep details of the design after exposition.
