During the next steps, the laser will be turned on, so don't forget to wear a pair of laser safety glasses.
Place a piece of non-reflective material under the laser head, such as wood or thick cardboard.
Turn the switch key in the laser adapter, the POWER indicator should light up.
Press the Mode button once (big red button). The ARMED indicator should light up and the laser fan should start.
Now, press the Mode button continuously for around 2 seconds. You should see a shortlaser pulse (at full power) that will leave a burn mark. This procedure verifies that the laser is functioning correctly.
