Step #18 - Levelling the Frame

If you don't own a level, you can use your smartphone instead. Here is a link to an Android app and to an iOS app.

Instructions

  1. Place the level on top of the lateral profiles, and on the middle vertical profile.
    1. Using the 14mm spanner, level the foot below that profile to align the lateral profiles.
      1. Secure the foot using the 20mm spanner to fasten the nut.
        1. Firmly press the lateral profiles together and tighten the 2 angle brackets.
          1. Verify if the frame is levelled along the crosswise direction. If not, use the same technique on the foot of the opposite side.
            1. Repeat the 4 first instructions to level the opposite lateral side.

              Animation

              Make sure that the profiles are very well aligned at the middle intersection, it will help for the next step.
